Reviews and Ratings
I was thrilled with the lovely location of the hotel, perched atop a hill with breathtaking views of the river. The rooms were comfortable but a bit small, and I particularly enjoyed the terrace. The service was outstanding, with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The dining experience was exceptional, with delicious homemade pies and jams. The facilities were well-maintained, offering a great bonus to my stay. While the beautiful setting and service were top-notch, the room size and lack of space were a slight drawback.
I loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were super modern and great, although they could be a bit bigger. The service was excellent, with incredibly helpful staff who were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was absolutely beautiful, on a hill, overlooking vineyards and the Douro river. The dining experience was exceptional, and the facilities were top-notch.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were unique and well-decorated with comfortable beds, although the size was a bit big yet not very comfortable due to the small couch and the constant blinking white and red light. Comparing it to other 'bucolic' places we've visited before, it had its charms but also some shortcomings.
